Instances of fraud and duping Indian nationals residing abroad by impersonating on telephone calls as officers of this Consulate and also spoofing the numbers of Ministries/Departments of Government of India have come to notice.
2.The security agencies of the Government of India have recently successfully investigated several modules operating with similar modus operandi. Hence, individuals/organizations who are victim of such fraud or spoofing calls are invited to furnish details of any such incidence in the following format to email ID: which shall be forwarded to Government of India for suitable action:
